Freeride NZ Ltd is an all-inclusive freeride/downhill mountain bike guiding and coaching company. Our aim is to encompass a true taste of New Zealand’s best mountain biking and outdoor lifestyle.
Freeride NZ Ltd is based in Wanaka, with the majority of guided trips in the wider Otago and Central Otago area.
Our all-inclusive riding packages range from exclusive single day trips to eight day adventures. Each adventure is designed for all levels and disciplines of mountain biking. Multi-day tours involve outstanding guiding by our friendly guides, a camp manager, camp maintenance, luxury accommodation (optional), hearty meals, bike service assistance and a comfortable shuttling service.
Freeride NZ Ltd also provides great coaching clinics, excellent for all riders, beginners to the more advanced.

Wanaka is internationally known as a mountain bikers heaven. This freeriders paradise has everything from plush single track riding, gnarly steep shoots to hucking. Wanaka has something to offer you.
We will make your Wanaka mountain bike adventure that little extra special by finding those hidden trails and stunts all in a relaxed environment.
Wanaka’s local mountain biking scene revolves around the ‘plantation’ made up from a mixture of pine trees ranging from 10-20 years in age, located near the Clutha River. Mountain biking began in this area some 10 years ago with many of those original trails still being used today. Wanaka seems to be right up there with the latest developments in freeride mountain biking from all over the world, including features such as a timber teeter-totter, dual slalom track, jumps, drops and of course world class single track riding.
